Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s 2nd casino-based integrated resort, is a landmark located along the Marina Bay waterfront featuring three cascading hotel towers topped by a unique linked sky park that will distinguish it from other buildings in the Bay.

About 50,000 sq m VersiDrain 6P is currently in the process of being installed along the entire length of the Marina Promenade fronting the resort as well as other hardscape areas with stone finish. Positioned between the structural slab and topping screed it acts as a separation layer and creates a drainage and ventilation cavity that allows entrapped water in the screed to escape. This prevents water and dissolved salts from accumulating beneath the surface stone pavers or tiles and eventually causing cracks or migrating upward via capillary action to form efflorescence.

VERSICELL SUB-SOIL DRAINAGE

To facilitate sub-soil drainage about 14,000 sq m VersiCell will be installed in the deep planter trenches along the entire Marina Promenade and also in planter boxes scattered throughout the resort.
